Founder & Creative Director
Crystal’s professional movement career in dance, movement and wellness began more than 15 years ago when she began dancing for Disney in Orlando Florida and later at Disneyland in California. She studied dance and exercise physiology from The University of New Mexico. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Education, she moved to NYC to pursue her dance and movement career.
Crystal has held wellness certifications from NASM, AFAA, The Cooper Institute and Yoga Alliance. While interning at The Cooper Institute, she helped develop pre-post natal curriculum for their certification program. She has modeled and hosted events for NIKE throughout Los Angeles, and has published work for industry leaders IDEA and InnerIDEA.
In 2008, she created her first fundraiser & climbed to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa to build awareness around the childhood obesity epidemic and to develop preventative wellness programs to address it.
Crystal's experience summitting Mt. Kilimanjaro coupled with her experience now as a mom and Parent Education chair at her daughter's preschool, helped her invision her next career direction. As Parent Education chair, Crystal was really inspired to see and understand the importance of play in childhood development. Not only through unstructured and structured play environments, but also the role parents play in their families development.
Crystal’s current project, House of Movement, provides a space where families can actively play together, through movement classes and play activities that extend into the home. It is her solution to providing a fun way for families to bond, grow and be active together. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Seth, her two girls, Evelyn and Elle, and son, Bradley.
Family Yoga Instructor
Crystal combines over 10 years as a certified Kundalini and children's Yoga and Pilates instructor and an eclectic background in theater, dance, Kundalini and Hatha yoga to create a holistic fusion of physical expression and discovery. Crystal became certified in Khalsa Way Pregnancy Yoga Teacher's Training with Gurmukh at Golden Bridge in 2008, and felt deeply connected to these teaching during her own pregnancy and home birth in 2010. She continues to find new ways to create a safe and fun environment for students, ages 2 years and up, to explore and express their unique physical and mental gifts.
Her current work as a child and adult Marriage/Family therapist and co-founder/instructor of the Light Leaders Yoga teachers training program for children's yoga teachers, in addition to being a busy Mama and partner, are all great sources of joy and growth.

Summer Camp Instructor
For the past ten years I have been educating children inside and outside of the classroom. My passion started while teaching swimming lessons to children of all ages. From there I went on to coach youth soccer and obtain my National youth coaching license. I then completed my degree in early childhood and multicultural education. I am a firm believer in keeping children mentally and physically fit and active. My approach to education is to have fun, be creative and keep children interested and in search of knowledge.
